- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13390375, 2 days agoJust paid for AdBlock premium today on a special offer. Can't get it working on any of my browsers. Don't buy it unless you are sure you can get rid of the free versions and get the paid version working. I couldn't.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Charcoal, 4 days agoSuch a shame how people whine about how the extension isn't working at times. It's free you spoiled brats. How about being grateful for what is there for you to use for FREE. As a matter of fact, this extension should have a price on it just to make the babies cry even more.

posted 5 days agoHi,
thank you for contacting Adblock Plus.
To get the icon to show on your screen on Firefox, just do the following:
1 - Click the puzzle piece icon, located on the top right of your screen.
2 - Find Adblock Plus.
3 - Right-Click on Adblock Plus.
4 - Select Pin to Toolbar.
5 - The icon now appears on the toolbar.
If you cannot find the ABP icon on this menu, then it is likely the installation was not completed. You can download it again from our homepage: www.adblockplus.org
Note: Every time ABP is installed you will see our contribution page. Feel free to close the page by clicking the "x" on the tab if you've already paid or prefer not to contribute at this time.- Rated 4 out of 5by solognot41, 8 days ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Justman10000, 10 days agoAll well and good! However, Adblocks forum is dead, which is counterproductive if one need help! Furthermore, Adblock blocks the ads themselves, but the containers in which the ads are to be displayed remain there, whereby their content simply changes color to red
** Edit **
After the explanation it works! The red boxes are gone!Developer response
posted 5 days agoHi,
If you are seeing red boxes, can you please try the following:
Click on your ABP icon > gear icon > advanced > uncheck the box next to Turn on debug element hiding filters mode > refresh the page.
If the issue persists, can you please send us a message to support@adblockplus.org with some screenshot ? We would be happy to look into it for you! - Rated 2 out of 5by Adam.Rattue, 10 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by nothingforyou, 11 days ago"Adblock Plus has been updated! " Are you kidding me? This is browser hijacking adware built into an ad blocker! YOU HAVE DESIGNED IT SPECIFICALLY TO OPEN WHEN YOU CLICK LINKS/NEW TABS. The whole design of the popup is adware meant to hijack your browser. I suggest reporting this as 'something else' and explaining that it's hijacking browser tabs.

posted 5 days agoHi,
We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing. If you are seeing many payment tabs all at once or encountering the payment page every time you open your browser, please reach out to us via support@adblockplus.org.
Here's more about how our contribution page works: For non-Premium users, we populate the page when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to support Adblock Plus if you find the software beneficial. We don't track who has previously paid unless your extension is already upgraded to Adblock Plus Premium (and in that case we won't show you the update page at all). The contribution page also displays just after installing ABP so it sometimes appears even though you have recently contributed or have paid for Premium. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17554834, 11 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13658430, 11 days agoGreat extension! But every day, it goes against its own mission of preventing ads by creating its own advert. Without notice it opens own page without permission scrounging for more donations. It's very annoying & disruptive. You are ruining your own great brand because of your incessant greed. If it continues I will remove it from all browsers and devices. Thanks again for the period of time when you were great when you were doing what you set out to do.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Era, 11 days agoIt use to be great, now they focus on (ironically) advertising adblock plus Premium through "donations". Every time its updated (every 2-3 days) it'll bring up a page that begs for donations, and you can't disable it. But if you "purchase" premium, that page won't come up.
I've seen the developers responses, trying to skirt around the issue "But if its multiple tabs at once then report to us immediately!"
Absolute adwere scam. Absolutely ironic.
PS: Note how the developers response doesn't actually talk about the issue. You. Cannot. Turn off. The advert.Developer response

posted 5 days agoHi,
We are as frustrated by Twitch's ability to circumvent our blocks as you are. We have been looking for solutions, but with our last attempt, they detected our blocks and placed a purple notification screen which generated a large number of complaints from our users.
Twitch is very well-funded with a large team entirely focused on finding ways around our blocks. At the same time, we are also working against similar teams at YouTube and Facebook, not to mention the many other sites where we are successfully blocking ads.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this creates in the meantime. Please feel free to reply back if you have any questions or if there is anything else I can do for you; I'm happy to help!
